WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y. (AP) _ Vuzix Corp. (VUZI) on Thursday reported a loss of $5.5 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the West Henrietta, New York-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents.
The wearable device maker posted revenue of $1.4 million in the period.
Vuzix shares have dropped 16 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.70, a decrease of 14 percent in the last 12 months.
