Minyanville's T3 Morning Market Call: Market Grappling With Apple Weakness

Futures are basically flat this morning as the overnight session was a pretty quiet one. Some European indices continue higher but are off their highest levels. The Shanghai Composite held most of its 2.9% surge from yesterday. The market could rest a bit today after yesterday's roller-coaster session.   All eyes continue to be fixated on Washington as the fiscal cliff deadline looms. There has been little progress made in negotiations and there have even been suggestions by Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner that the White House is willing to go over the cliff before getting a final resolution.
