Futures are basically flat this morning as the overnight session was a pretty quiet one. Some European indices continue higher but are off their highest levels. The Shanghai Composite held most of its 2.9% surge from yesterday. The market could rest a bit today after yesterday's roller-coaster session. All eyes continue to be fixated on Washington as the fiscal cliff deadline looms.
