EQT gains, SandRidge sinks on energy deals

Energy stocks move up after EQT Corp. inks an agreement to sell its gas- distribution unit for $720 million, but SandRidge Energy drops on plans to shed its Permian properties for $2.6 billion in a day of deal-making for the sector.
