Dell shares are on the rise this morning, thanks in part to a new wrinkle in the speculation that founder and CEO Michael Dell might lead a leveraged buyout of the company. CNBC's David Faber is now saying that Microsoft is participating in the LBO talks, and could invest $1 billion to $3 billion into the deal.
