Emirates Airline, the world's biggest customer for the Boeing Co. 777, said it expects a revamped version of the Everett-built widebody jet within six to nine months. Reuters reports Emirates Airline President Tim Clark said of the new 777: "I believe it will be launched and we'll see that in six to nine months." Emirates and other airlines have been pushing Boeing (NYSE: BA) for a new 777 for months.
