LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Papa John's International Inc. (PZZA) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $8.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Louisville, Kentucky-based company said it had profit of 15 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 28 cents per share.
The pizza chain posted revenue of $399.6 million in the period.
Papa John's expects full-year earnings in the range of $1 to $1.20 per share.
Papa John's shares have risen roughly 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $43.25, an increase of 2% in the last 12 months.
